Alligator Airboat Adventure

Monday, September 12
9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Imagine seeing the world in a whole new light! This educational and fun excursion takes you into the seldom-visited heart of Florida's natural beauty. Experience protected wetland hammocks, walk through ancient flatwoods, and travel by airboat into pristine sections of fresh water marshes and up river, into the bald cypress swamp—home of the Florida alligator, American Bald Eagle, and a huge assortment of wildlife. Certified eco-guides ensure that each guest comes away with a profound new understanding of the vastly different land and plant communities, and the importance of their interrelationship and preservation.

The tour includes a short 30 - 45-minute hike into the heart of this pristine wilderness, often called the Central Florida Everglades, before arriving at a 100-year old fish camp. After complimentary refreshments of alligator tail and a soft drink, we will board our boats to experience The American Heritage River and its abundant wildlife.

Winter Park Tour

Wednesday, September 14
9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Winter Park was developed in 1887 for wealthy Northerners as a summer retreat. Park Avenue's shopping district, where Southern charm lured the elite society, can still be seen today. Picturesque shops, boutiques, cafes, brick-lined streets and the towering trees of Central Park make Park Avenue the place to be and be seen. Browse the exclusive boutiques and art galleries filled with one-of-a-kind treasures, as well as stores bearing the names of your favorite designers.

Enjoy a relaxing, 45-minute pontoon boat ride while gliding through canals and tree-lined lakes. Marvel at beautiful homes nestled along sparkling lakes and observe nature all around.

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art houses the world's most comprehensive collection of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933), from Tiffany jewelry, painting, and lamps, to the chapel interior designed for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The Museum's holdings include a major collection of American art pottery and collections of late-19th and early-20th century American paintings, graphics, and decorative arts. Truly a unique experience and one you will not want to miss!

We'll stop for a delicious lunch at 310 Park South, one of Winter Park's popular restaurants, where you can relax and enjoy award-winning "New American" cuisine.

World of Chocolate Museum

Thursday, September 15
9:00 am – 11:00 am

Your tour starts with a short presentation before entering the 'tropical rainforest' to learn a little more about cacao. Our tour then takes you back in time to discover the origins of chocolate and its rich history. Next, we enter the sculpture area, boasting 25 solid chocolate sculptures of some of the world's most recognizable landmarks. Learn how chocolate is made and see some retired machinery used to make chocolate. Then on to the tasting room to sample some of the very finest chocolates from around the world!
